This last week there has been a lot of pressure from top Democrats for Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. to explain why he has been off the job for over a month. Wednesday the congressman's office issued a statement saying he has a "mood disorder" and is in some sort of hospital for treatment.
Some say he his being treated for outlandish drug and alcohol abuse, but Jackson's team has denied. This all leaves the general public with a lot of questions. What is psychiatric issue is Jackson is being treated for, where is he, when he be released, how severer is his condition, should he resign, etc.
An unnamed doctor has announced a medical leave to Congress with no details.
Rick Bryant said, "being treated for alcohol or substance abuse is not true..." My question is why bring that up? The note from the anonymous doctor read, "The congressman is receiving intensive medical treatment at a residential treatment facility for a mood disorder. He is responding positively to treatment and is expected to make a full recovery."
So, what does "mood disorder" mean? Is it Major depression, bipolar disorder, seasonal affective disorder, or does he have some type of other crazy psychotic thing going on.
I think it is only fair to point out that being a far left delusional Democrat is only one step from total lunacy.
Jackson, who appears to have been involved in improprieties over his attempt, in 2008, to grab an appointment to the Senate by now convicted felon Gov. Rod Blagojevich that had opened up by Barack Obama's gain of the White House.
Jackson has not been on his job since June 10, 2012. He has missed 90 roll-call votes.
