Vote Results: "Gender is Irrelevant"

Delaware: The Civil Marriage Destination!

Yesterday the Delaware Legislature declared the roles of Mom and Dad irrelevant. Delaware is now the 8th state to allow civil unions. Our laws and forms will now read, "Parent A" and "Parent B" compliments of your tax dollars!

When DFPC member and family court attorney Glynis Gibson testified to the wide and far reaching implications of SB30 and the impact on children, the crowd hissed in utter disrespect.

Speaking of the crowd, all seats in the entire chamber and balcony were reserved by Representatives for the supporters of SB30. It was not a debate. It was a tightly orchestrated production. As soon as the vote passed, Rep. Pete Schwartzkopf of Lewes turned to the crowd, and blew kisses at them as they cheered.

What we experienced in the SB30 vote was true legislative activism all the way to the Governor! The facts of the impact to religious liberty, tax payers, businesses, children, family law, all ignored.

And Now it Begins...

In 2012 every Legislator is up for re-election due to the redistricting of the state. We are asking for your help in recruiting candidates who are solid in character and biblical worldview.

The Delaware Legislature is now on the record for using tax dollars to promote and enshrine the idea that kids do not need both a mom and a dad. The Legislators who voted for SB30 just traded Mother and Father for "Parent A" and "Parent B."

The Delaware Legislature is now on the record for choosing not to protect our cherished liberties.

The Delaware Legislature is now on the record for undermining marriage and positioning Delaware for legalized same-sex "marriage."

Candidate school is coming in January of 2012!

Please thank the Legislators below who voted NO on SB30. Especially thank Rep. Bill Carson for breaking rank with the Democrat Party and voting with us. Not only did he vote 'no' on SB30, Rep. Carson introduced, from the floor, an amendment to protect our religious liberties. He called on our ADF Attorney, Doug Napier, to communicate to the Legislature why this protection is so needed. The Majority voted NOT to protect our cherished religious liberties.

Thank you to all the Pastors and newly engaged supporters, who made phone calls, sent emails, passed on information, and came to Legislative Hall. YOU successfully put legislators on notice!

Now be resolved to make this vote count in 2012!!

Start now by becoming a member of DFPC. Remember to write a thank you to the Legislators in the blue column who voted NO on SB30.
