Dr. Don Hattier wins Indian River, the only incumbent to win in Sussex! Brian Lewis wins Capitol, a contentious and highly watched race! Cheryl Precourt beats anti-family incumbent Chuck Whitehurst, but looses by only 12 votes to Teachers Union candidate Melody Heavner. The race produced record turn-out! Losing by only 12 votes, Cheryl reportedly unnerved the Teachers Union. She put them on notice for next year. Way to go Cheryl! We Are Ready to Move Forward If You Are
