| Coming into Thursday night, the last night of session, our concern was that SB135 would find its way to the House floor for a vote, even though it was not on the agenda. We alerted our allied legislators to the serious parental rights violation in the bill. Sure enough, SB135 was introduced at 11pm!
The house debated SB135 longer than any other bill thanks to Rep. Gerald Hocker's parental rights amendment. All the right questions were asked. Consequently, SB135 was tabled, and cannot be considered again until next year! Listed below are the names and address of the Legislators that were most instrumental in guarding your rights. They deserve our recognition and thanks. The Progressives (radically liberal, career seeking legislator activists) are in the majority in the House AND the Senate. All night they introduced bills that had not gone through the committee hearing process. Therefore, the bill contents were mostly unknown; but they pushed the bills through regardless. It's wrong! It's tyrannical! We were able to bring SB135 to a halt and uncover years of parental rights violations in the process. Now we can work to correct it. Are you ready to get involved? The days of uninformed voting has GOT to end in our churches and in our circles of influence. Do you realize that if people sitting in the pews were registered to vote and actually voted a biblical worldview our state would look completely different? Are you in? Donate here and become a member too. The budget and Grant-in-Aid bill were passed for 2012 with funding for Planned Parenthood. Your phone calls officially set the stage for what's to come. Commit yourself now that in 2012 we will work to defund Planned Parenthood. This work will be the focus of February 2012. Be resolved in this because it will take every pro-life person in the state in a coordinated effort of prayer and action to see it through AND HOLD LEGISLATORS ACCOUNTABLE IN 2012.
